Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026 · Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how HayBiz.us ("HayBiz," "we," "us"), operated by AAGMA Inc, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our job board at https://haybiz.us (the "Service"). We've tried to keep it plain and honest. If anything is unclear, email us at haybiz.us@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and password when you register.
- Job listing information — when an employer posts a job: contact details, company or poster name, the listing text, and related details.
- Application information — when a job seeker applies: your name, contact information, your message, and any resume or photo files you upload.
- Communications — messages you send us (for example, support or removal requests).
Information we collect automatically:
- Usage and device data — such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date/time of access, collected through standard server logs and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Analytics data — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and which campaigns bring visitors). This data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you personally. See the Cookie Policy for details.
- Cookies — small files used to keep you logged in and to run the site. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of information (such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health data, or precise geolocation). Please do not include such information in a listing, message, or resume unless it's necessary and you're comfortable sharing it.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- operate the job board — publish approved listings, deliver applications to employers, and let you save jobs;
- create and manage your account and authenticate your logins;
- review and moderate content, including approving or removing listings;
- respond to your questions and handle removal or support requests;
- send service-related messages, such as password-reset emails and, where applicable, notifications about applications;
- understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it;
- keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell it.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:
- With employers — when you apply to a listing, your application and attached files go to the employer who posted it. Once an employer receives your information, their own privacy practices apply.
- Publicly — information a poster includes in a job listing (such as a contact email or phone number) appears publicly on the listing by design. Do not put anything in a listing you don't want shown publicly.
- With administrators — HayBiz administrators can view content for moderation and support.
- With service providers — companies that help us run the Service: our web hosting provider (currently DigitalOcean), our email-delivery provider (currently Resend, which sends messages such as password resets and application notifications), and our analytics provider (Google Analytics). They may access information only to perform services for us.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HayBiz, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer — if HayBiz is ever merged, acquired, or its assets transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
5. Where your information is stored
Uploaded files and listing data are stored on server infrastructure operated by our hosting provider (currently DigitalOcean), rather than on third-party consumer platforms. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure (see Section 7).
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes:
- Job listings remain until they expire, are filled, or are removed.
- Applications and uploaded files are retained so employers and administrators can access them, and are removed on request or within a reasonable period after they're no longer needed.
- Account information is kept while your account is active.
You can ask us to delete your listings, applications, or account at any time — see Section 8.
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including secure (HTTPS/SSL) connections, hashed passwords, and access controls limiting who can view content. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any authorities as required by law. More about our practices is on the Trust & Security page.
8. Your choices and rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access or correct your information — contact us and we'll help.
- Delete your listings, applications, or account — email haybiz.us@gmail.com.
- Opt out of non-essential emails — follow the unsubscribe instructions or contact us. We may still send essential service messages (like password resets).
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA). California law gives residents specific rights. Even where these are not strictly required of a business our size, HayBiz honors them:
- Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you, and how we use and share it.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of, but you have the right regardless.
- Right to limit sensitive information — we don't use sensitive personal information for the purposes this right covers.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email haybiz.us@gmail.com with your request. We'll verify your identity by reasonable means (usually by confirming you control the email associated with the information) and respond within the timeframes required by law — generally acknowledging within 10 business days and responding within 45 days, with an extension if needed. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
For other states. If you live in a U.S. state with its own privacy law, you may have similar rights (to access, correct, delete, or opt out). Contact us and we'll honor the rights that apply to you.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Third-party links
Listings or pages may link to third-party websites (such as an employer's site). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
11. SMS / text messaging (HayBiz Job Alerts)
If you opt in to HayBiz Job Alerts, we collect your mobile phone number solely to send you recurring text messages about new job listings. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get assistance by replying HELP.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice on the site. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
13. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, email haybiz.us@gmail.com.
