Frequently asked questions
Short answers about posting, applying and how the board works. Հարցեր ունե՞ք հայերեն. գրեք մեզ, պատասխանում ենք երկու լեզվով։
What is HayBiz.us?
HayBiz.us is a free, bilingual (English and Armenian) jobs board for the Armenian community in Glendale, Burbank, the wider Los Angeles area and across the United States. Employers post openings, job seekers apply, and car owners list cars for rent to rideshare drivers. It is run by AAGMA Inc in California.
Is HayBiz really free?
Yes. Posting a job, browsing listings, applying, saving jobs and getting the weekly email are all free. There are no paid tiers, featured placements or credit packs.
Who can post on HayBiz?
Any employer, small business, family or individual hiring in the United States can post. Most listings come from Armenian-owned businesses and families in Glendale, Burbank, North Hollywood, Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley, but postings from any US city are welcome. Postings must follow the Acceptable Use rules: real jobs, real pay, no fees charged to applicants.
Do I need an account to post a job?
No. The posting form asks for a title, category, city, pay, a description and a contact phone or email. Photos are optional. An account is only needed if you want a dashboard to see applicants and download resumes, or if you want to save jobs as a job seeker.
Why is my listing not showing yet?
Every new post goes through a quick human review before it appears on the board. This usually takes less than a day and keeps spam and scams off the board. If a listing has been waiting more than two days, write to us through the Contact page.
How long does a listing stay up?
A listing runs for 30 days and is renewed automatically while it is open, so it does not vanish mid-search. When the position is filled, close it from your dashboard or send us a note and we take it down.
How do I apply for a job?
Open the listing and press Apply. You can attach a resume as PDF or Word, or just send your contact details with a short message. The employer receives your application by email and contacts you directly. HayBiz never charges applicants and never asks for payment or ID documents.
Which kinds of jobs are on HayBiz?
About forty categories, matching how the community actually hires: caregivers and in-home care, medical and dental offices, restaurants and bakeries, drivers and medical transport, trucking, auto repair, beauty salons, admin and office, sales, construction, warehouse, cleaning and housekeeping, child care, jewelry, tailoring, education, government, work from home, and no-experience and age 16 to 17 jobs.
What are the car rental listings?
Car owners list vehicles for rent to Uber, Lyft and TCP drivers, usually with a weekly price and a note on which documents are in place (TCP, LAX permit). These sit in the UBER category. Rental terms are agreed directly between the owner and the driver; HayBiz does not take part in the deal.
Is the site in Armenian?
Yes. The whole interface switches between English and Armenian with the toggle in the header. Listings appear in whatever language the employer wrote them, often both.
How do I spot a scam job?
Real employers never ask you to pay for training, equipment, background checks or visas, never ask for your bank login, and never push you to move the conversation to a payment app before an interview. If a listing does any of that, do not reply and report it to us. The Trust and Security page lists the red flags in detail.
How do I get new jobs by email?
Sign up on the home page. Every Monday HayBiz sends a short This Week on HayBiz issue with the new listings and a hiring tip. You can unsubscribe with one click from any issue.
How do I contact HayBiz?
Email haybiz.us@gmail.com or call +1 (818) 743-7584. The Contact page has both. We answer in English or Armenian.
